It is with great pleasure that I invite our members to attend the CILA conference at Nottingham this year. 

This year sees a change to the content we usually provide as we focus on broader topics rather than sector specific presentations. The sessions we will be providing should arm our attending adjusters to tackle the difficult years we see ahead of us with economic updates, supply chain and political violence being just a small selection of topics we will be covering. There will also be the opportunity to participate in soft skill workshops on negotiation or destressing techniques. We hope that you find the change in format as informative and exciting as we do!

The focus of my presidential year has been to attract younger talent to the profession and this year we will be hosting a Future Focus workshop for under 35’s to attend. This will be a fantastic opportunity for our rising stars in the industry to not only take part in the full programme of content throughout the day, at a reduced rate, but also to be instrumental in the design of events and training that the institute will provide in the upcoming years.

The conference will not only be an opportunity to attend the sessions/workshops but to meet up with other loss adjusting colleagues to build your network within our excellent profession.

I am therefore delighted to welcome you all to the 2022 conference in Nottingham and I look forward to seeing you there!
